Nojiri-Tokyo-Iwaki-Nojiri

Life at the cabin in Nojiri is wonderful. It´s not really a cabin made as a cabin for fall/vinter, so it´s kind of breezy in here...but it´s totally worth being here even though we´re freezing ;)
This weekend, my good old creative friend Satoyan was gonna have an event in Tokyo. We hadn´t seen eachother since I moved from japan, so Paul and I decided to go.
We drove friday morning, and had a meeting with the CRASH people that´s the organisation that works with the voulantare stuff up in Tohoku.
Then met up with the housechurch friends where we were gonna stay, and we went to eat dinner with Noah.
From one minute to another, all of a sudden my good friend Asami came and joined us, then her husband Ryousuke came just before midnight, and from one thing to another we all ended up staying at Noah and their place. Fantastic slumber party!!!:)
Satoyans event was on saturday, so after eating brunch with Asami&Ryousuke at Ikebukuro, we went to see my "Japanese sister Mika" dance this very cool japanese dance- SHE WAS FANTASTIC 最高かっこいだったよ!!!!
After that, John came and we had a 30 minutes rejoiceable time with him, celebrating his new job at NHK and that we all got married, and that we once again are togehter in Japan again.
Then we moved over to the place where Satoyan and her husband was gonna have the event.
It was sooo great to see her again, met her super matching husband and laugh of her wonderful humor as they had a nice performance on stage together singing old japanse "enkas".

Sunday morning we drove straight to my wonderful Iwaki, I just couldn´t be patient anymore, so since we were so "close" already, we just had to go there.
We went to Home chapel, Hide´s coffee shop, had a reunion with my good friends/ ,
stayed at Natsuki&Hidekis place the 3 nights,

PS. Check out this crazy size of this moth here...we heard something crazy on the door here the other night, and it was this huge bug, and when we had breakfast outside in the morning, it was sleeping on the wall- then it woke up in the night again, and then the next morning same sleeping spot!
This other bug, the Semi, was crawling around in the water, so we helped it up and put it back in a tree, looke how amazing it looks!
Bugs are huge here!

Honeymoon

After our wedding on the 27th we started our journey inspired by this song, written by Ben Rosenbush from "The Brighton" .The song´s called "Safe Harbor".
Here´s the link. Please listen carefully to the wonderful lyric.

So anyways, we flew to England and then Paul surprised me with a cruise over the Pacific Ocean to New York.
The cruise was great,it took 7 days to cross the ocean and we enjoyed everyday together, the time, the food, the entertainment, the fresh air, the isolation and the two wonderful couples we ended up eating dinner with every day, we had a one week anniversary and they surprised us with a japanese card and a cake.
PERFECT HONEYMOON!
Then we spent some time in Kentucky with his family there before me flew over to our destination, JAPAN.
Now we are here together at a cabin up in the Japanese Mountains close to Nagano, Nojiri.
It´s wonderful and fantastic to be here, get to know eachother better and look forward to find out what our next step on our journey will be:)

I´m back!

HELLO !!!
This blog has been sleeping for a loooong time now.
What happened, was that after I got back to Norway May 2009 this blog slowly started to fall asleep...
but now it just woke up again..hmm and for what reason??
I´m back in JAPAN again, and this time I´m not alone
(well I´ve never really been alone here-or ever) But now I got married to also my Japanese speaking husband, Paul Mikaelsen, so we figured it was a great deal to go to where we both feel at home and satisfied, so here we are-BACK IN JAPAN:)
Well if you have problems believing this is true, here´s some pictures from our wedding in Norway, Feda at 27th og August:)
