Okidoki. we had the first opening event, many people played, including me..about 50 people stopped by and we sold alot of coffee. Nice time.
Next week I´m gonna be a part of a soccer team, futsal turnment. So we had a nice practise with this amazing people. Had soo fun. And that wonderful girl there on the picture is Vanessa, she is from new zealand and I am sooo thankful that she has become my friend:)
By the way, on my way to this 1 event we had..I was in a hurry, dressed in a white dress, with a backsakk and my guitar on my shoulder skating towards my work from my house...was really late, so I skated on my skateboard as quick as I could....and then...then the police came drowing by....stoped and went out of the car 1, 2 no 3 policmen ...waiting for me to cross the street,,I was waiting for green light...This is the conversation..
Police:Do you have a little time? Is japanese ok?
Nina:Not really I´m alittle late for work...well I have alittle time. Yes, japanese is alittle ok... (It was the police, what could i say)
Police: You know, this street is for walking people, it´s not allowed to skate here on the skateboard..
Nina: What about bicycle?
Police: Yes, bicylce is ok..Skateboard is dangerous..
Nina:But this is like my bicycle, I have more controle on this thing then on a bike, and when I go to work I always quit late, so I have to drive with someone home, and cant`t bring the bike in the car, but I can bring the skateboard. If I use my bike to work, I have to leave it there and then walk the next day..
Police: Hmm..we understand but it`s a rule, no skating in the street...but you can skate in a skatepark..
Nina:But this skateboard is not made for skatepark, it`s silent quick weels that doesn`t bother other people . And of cause , It there is many people in the street I show respect and don`t skate...Please...what can I do from now on??I can`t skate anywhere on the streets? (and my face turne into the sadest face ever...and they saw it...)
Police: No , sorry...we know ..we understand...sorry..but it`s a rule
Nina: ok, but maybe you can try to change the rule???
Police:we?...No, sorry I don`t think we can do that...
Nina: ok, (sad sad sad..almost tears in my eyes)...bye...
(I guess we talked for about 15-20 min...I tried soo hard to find a little gap to make it possible to skate, but with no luck...I wish I just pretended like I didn`t understand japanese...and from now on I can`t skate anymore...because if they stop me again..it`s not so easy to forget a forigner blond girl skatebording with a white dress and a guitar on her back....and now they`ve told me it`s not allowed, so now I can`t break the rule, now that they told me...IT`S SOOOOO SAD!!!)
